Join Our Team at Bridport Arts Centre 

Position: Bar Staff (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
Location: 
Bridport Arts Centre Bar
Hours: Flexible shifts by rota, including daytimes, evenings, and weekends
Salary: National Living Wage (paid monthly in arrears)
Contract: Zero Hours

 Your Role 

As a member of our bar staff team, you’ll be at the heart of the action, providing a warm, welcoming experience to all our visitors. Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Delivering excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Preparing and serving drinks efficiently
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
  • Accurately handling cash and card transactions
  • Restocking supplies and keeping the bar fully stocked
  • Complying with health and safety regulations
  • Occasionally helping set up for events and performances

 Who We’re Looking For 

  • Previous bar experience is preferred, but not essential – training will be provided
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • An interest in the arts and cultural events is a plus!
