Caught In a Web. A Documentary of a Dorset Village by Toni de Bromhead

Film maker Toni de Bromhead spent much of her childhood in South Dorset. In the mid 1980s she made this intimate portrait of the land, the landowners and the communities of Little Bredy and Puncknowle. This addition to the Dorset Pavilion offers us a unique window on a moment in Dorset time, when a very particular social fabric was poised to change. This is the first showing of the film since its transmission on Channel 4 in 1986.Toni will join contributing artist Jacy Wall in the gallery to introduce the film and reflect on it with the audience afterwards.
