F.east is the new café at the Bridport Arts Centre. It’s the perfect spot, whether you’re in the mood for freshly ground coffee and delicious cakes, or a fabulous lunch (or maybe both!).

You can sample F.east’s ever-changing selection of fresh, homemade cakes, all made in-house by chef Claire Wellman and her team. Right now, customer favourites include a light and zesty lemon and blueberry cake; an orange and almond cake topped with a tangy orange glaze; a rich chocolate and ginger tiffin and irresistibly delicious individual carrot cakes.

If you’re craving something savoury, the ever-changing lunch menu has a selection of soups, all homemade right here at F.east. Not only do they taste amazing, but they’re a feast for the eyes too. And why not pair it with some freshly baked focaccia or one of Claire’s generous cheese, herb, and tomato scones? They’re the perfect accompaniment to any soup.

Mexican Quesadillas: savoury pockets stuffed with refried beans and cheddar and served with smashed avocados, a tomato, coriander and lime salsa, sour cream and an extremely pretty F.east salad.

   A mezze plate of perhaps some chilli-cumin roasted carrots, butterbean mash and hazelnut dukkah served on a puffy F.east flatbread

     Claire’s incredibly flavourful yellow split pea dal topped with Indian spiced cauliflower, or with juicy spiced mushrooms. 

Or… squash, membrillo and blue cheese tart… a Spanish tortilla…a lightly spiced shakshuka… We try to keep things ever-changing as well as ever-interesting and delicious.
