The Allsop Gallery is open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 4pm (closed Sundays & Mondays)
The Foyer and Café galleries are open 10am to 4pm.
On occasions the Café Gallery will not be accessible to visitors because of meetings/classes.

The Allsop Gallery is the main exhibiting space at Bridport Arts Centre. This light and airy space comprises the entire upper floor of an old Georgian schoolhouse. It measures 15m x 6.5m with two 2.5m high hanging boards running the length of the galley. Recent improvements have included a new lighting system and the installation of a platform lift for disabled visitors. The Allsop Gallery is generally programmed up to 18 months ahead.
The Foyer Gallery is situated in the entrance to the Arts Centre; all visitors to the Centre pass through it so it is a prime spot. There is one long hanging panel of chipboard measuring 7.08 m x 1.22 m (23' 2.5" long x 4' deep)
The Café Gallery is situated to the rear of the building, a beautifully proportioned room with Georgian windows. Well patronised, a good location to exhibit. There are two main hanging panels 5.13 m x 1.22 m (16'10" x 4'), one shorter wall of 4.09 m x 1.22 m (13'5" x 4') plus spaces between windows
NB It is generally not advisable to exhibit sculpture or free standing work in either the Foyer or Café Galleries.
